When I first started working with the hymns and praise songs that were my favorites, I began to notice the arranging of several great musicians. I selected four by Jerry Ray and one by Larry Shackley for this CD. I arranged these for harp and kept much of their original harmony. I thank these people for their ministry of finding new ways to present our favorite hymns.

As always most of the arranging on my CD's are my own work as there are few arrangements for harp for a great deal of the music I play. St. Columba ended up being a fun arrangement using the drone sounds to suggest bagpipes. It's a lilting melody and truly takes on a life of its own.

The Praise Medley came about from my various concerts in churches over the years. I hope you find one or two you like! The continuous, 20-minute presentation is perfect background music for reading, study or prayer, as well as rush hour driving!

Many have found this CD great to play at bedtime.
